BA Blacktop provides asphalt milling and reclaiming services for highway and municipal roadway applications. We have successfully completed a wide range of milling and reclaiming operations throughout the Lower Mainland over the years.

Our group assists municipal in–house paving crews by milling and reclaiming numerous local roads. This work often involves night and weekend shifts to avoid disrupting commuter traffic and our M+R Division uses their expert traffic control skills to get these jobs done safely.

We provide ongoing milling operations for several clients:

• Municipal annual contracts
• Vancouver Airport Authority
• Local ports and terminals

Asphalt Production – BA Blacktop maintains several state-of-the-art asphalt plants in the Lower Mainland and Sunshine Coast, serving the local market with top quality asphalt products.

100% of all raw materials imported to our plants is either used in the production of asphalt or recycled and made into other products.

Crushing Operations 

BA Blacktop utilizes the following crushers and related equipment in our aggregate production operations:

• Diesel-electric drive Keestrack R6 (October 2017)
• Terex Pegson XR400 Jaw Crusher capable of processing larger product
• Terex Pegson 428 portable impact crusher
• Powerscreen 2100 Double deck Screen deck. This equipment is capable of processing rubble to manufacture recycled aggregates
• Rubble hog rap gator paired with a Terex Finlay 683T screen deck to manufacture RAP for Asphalt recycling and sand processing
